Thorough, patient, clear communication, caring.
Dr Thakore is excellent and has a holistic and thorough approach to dry eye. I have checked her approach to other experts and find that she uses every possible treatment and technique to keep it in check. Her exams and care of my eyes are just as thorough. Best eye doctor I have ever had
This doctor is rude to her patients, does not speak to them with respect at all. Give unclear instructions. Makes patient feel like it’s their fault for having a certain condition. Horrible schedule and does not work with patient and is never flexible. Gives patient a hard time about appointments even though she barely works during the week and expect her schedule to align with all of her patients. Communicated with my mother in Spanish . The practice is very but she diagnosed my mother with macular degeneration and asked her to start taking vitamins
First time seeing her and I was very disappointed. I even went back for support because my prescription continues to be uncomfortable weeks later. I wish she would have at least heard what I had to say without just brushing me off as though my discomfort isn’t real. I did make a second appointment and went back in. I will have to return my glasses and pay to see a new doctor. See someone else if possible.
I have had routine examination at Tufts Medical Center with this doctor.
My experiences over 19 years were always positive. She answered all of my questions and made appropriate referrals. She was never rushed.
Extremely kind, I did not find Dr. Lamoreau rushed at all. There is a sense of urgency in the office because it is in an urban environment and is incredibly busy. She helped me with a very irritating, stubborn eye problem and now it is better!
Rushes, no patience but very interested in making me pay out of pocket for a "cleanser, not covered by your insurance, costs 30-60 $". Without my consent she provides my private info, including cell, to a web pharmacy. I am asking her to kindly cancel this order right there in her office during the visit, she does not confirm. The next day a phone call at 8 pm, web-pharmacy on my cell tells me that she put the order through. Of course she claims that she canceled when I call her back.
