I thank God for Dr. Ganjoo. My son, Matthew had a very rare sarcoma and we lived 4 hours away from Stanford. She kept in touch with me and was available whenever we needed her. When he went into shock after chemo in our hometown, not one person in the clinic, including his local oncologist checked on him. I called Dr. Ganjoo and she told to bring him in. I have Uterine leiomyosarcoma and we love Dr. Ganjoo. She's very knowledgeable and with this cancer we need more doctors like her. I have been NED since September 2022. This is a very aggressive cancer and my original doctor wrote in my chart that I had 8 months to a couple of years to live. He put me on red devil chemotherapy when there were other clinical trials available.

She may be knowledgeable about standard cancer treatments, but she didn't go out of her way to research unconventional treatments (when the conventional ones weren't working). Throughout my brother's illness and treatment, it would take her days to respond to his questions, as if discussion with a layperson was a waste of time.
