Changed insurance to an HMO and had to chose a PCP and get referrals. I am a lung cancer w/ brain mets patient which means I have lots of docs and lots of appointments. Getting referrals from this place was a nightmare - Fikes "didn't know" she had to "close out" a file for the referral to move forward which meant that my oncologist appointment and charge of $16K was not covered.
