Very unhappy with the result of her as a surgeon. Very Strongly do not reccomend.
I was told before meeting Dr Patel that she had a cult following. Count me in. She and her staff are wonderful. She really listens to you she is an amazing surgeon and real as in you can talk to her and feel heard. I am so lucky to have her as my Dr and the staff abd MUSC. Very very grateful
She seemed nice but was rushed in the planning phase and she did a really bad seriously awful job on the surgery and refused to take any responsibility or fix it. The reconstructive surgery looks seriously disfigured. MUSC is an awful hospital with really bad surgeons. I would avoid. I have to get the surgery redone because it looks really bad and Patel and MUSC would not take any responsibility.
As a child she had an amazing ability to spot/find prehistoric sharks teeth on the beaches of the Rappahannock river. (Childhood friend)
I made an appointment in June 2022 for my son to have a turbinate reduction in February 2023, speaking with Nakisha Kirk. The day before his appointment, I learned that the surgery has been pushed out another four months because the staff failed to request pre approval. I was lold that the appointment we made eight months ago was a “dummy” appointment.
