I got a flier in mail and called. They charge 300$ to file for a bonded title. That is on top of the fees you would pay if you did it yourself. Thats 15$ at a central Tax location. Houston or Beaumont. Plus the regular tax and title fees and the bond fee Based on my research a 2000 Mountaineer i called for has an assumed presumptive value APV (this is what state uses to value your vehicle and charge the 6.25% tax) , of $400. Bond is set at 2/3 that value. Pay 15$ then they tell you cist if bond. 10% or less from what i see. ... read more
Can't say enough great things about Kris services. Very professional and FAST. Always stayed in touch with me while my title was processing. Will be returning for other title transfers.
Kris is an awesome lady. She helped me understand the procedures involved in securing my Dealers License. Even thru this trying times of Covid when State offices are working at minimal capacity, she kept me informed as to the proceedings and handled it in a timely manner.
