My husband and I choose this movie theatre because it is consistantly clean, runs the newest releases and is located in a nice area, downtown Monrovia. We've never encountered long waits in the ticket line even with bigtime movie releases. After the movie we usually walk around Mrytle Avenue's lane of shops or to the nearby park. I really love this theatre. Actually, besides the Laemmle independent theatres, I really won't go to any other venue. Prices are steep at theatres everywhere, so that's not really a concern. You pay about eight dollars a ticket for a wonderful seat, great view, and great audio experience. The owner will frequent the theatre on busy nights and talks to crowds at special features, like the premieres of the Lord of the Rings movies.
