Very unhappy with this appraisals work. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: If you have solar panels and they are on a loan they do not go to the value of the house. The Appraiser was professional and very polite the first appraisal we got took 1 week to be developed. All of this was fine, after that however everything when down hill. The appraiser appraised our house for much less then we thought, it turns out that was because they did not include the value of our solar panels. I was directed to KPD via my mortgage lender to get an appraisal for my home as part of a refinance, and things did not turn out well. I was not present when Mr. Dowling arrived for the inspection, but my wife was, and said that he was right on time, in and out, and didn’t ask any questions about how new the upgrades to our appliances, A/C, roof, pool, porch, patio, or entire backyard landscaping are (they are all new).
