They just threw me out of the store for not wearing a mask. I told them I couldn't breathe with it on and it stresses my heart. Told to wear it or leave. Been shopping there for over 20 years.(White Bear Lake) I left... and won't be back. I've been there more than a dozen times since covid started. I’m new to Minneapolis, and typically shop at Aldi, but I am in love with the Fried Chicken Dinner from the Kowalski’s Deli. I think it’s an amazing deal and an incredibly satisfying meal. I would like to try more of their deli offerings, and I really enjoyed their take and bake lasagna when I had company, but I can’t stay away from that fried chicken dinner. It’s the perfect meal for when you don’t want to cook, but don’t want to order takeout.
I shopped at Eden Prairie Kowalski’s tonight. I keep getting eye infections from wearing a face mask so I don’t wear them anymore. A employee told me I had to wear one. I won’t be shopping there again until they understand the guidelines.
I would have recommended Kowalski's before today. I stopped at the Shoreview store on my way home from Mass to buy some bread and a dessert and a gift certificate. I was stopped immediately within the door and told that I could not enter without a mask. I told the man I could not wear one. He said they were not honoring medical exemptions. I told him it was the law. He said it wasn't and that Kowalski's had the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Really?
