The garlic chicken was incredible and the staff were so welcoming and laid back. A real gem!
I loved my food, my girlfriend was not as happy with her dish. She wanted poke but got a shredded fish salad. It was good but not what was advertised. Small spot but cozy and good people
Busy yet small cozy restaurant. Ordered the garlic chicken with rice per the rave reviews and it was DELICIOUS Brought some to work the next day, too!! My friend's Katsu chicken was fair. Very friendly staff! Would come back again. So MANY customers came to eat inside or do take out such that the garbage was overflowing 🤪 On way out, a lady on staff gently yelled out, Thank you!! I did appreciate that - ALOT!! Keep cooking the yummy food and the great customer service!!
If you're looking for authentic Hawaiian plate lunches around Portland, Kove Island Comfort Kitchen is absolute top-tier. It's a small, simple spot with only about four tables that seat around two people each, and they seem to handle a lot of takeout orders in between.
