Was good until given the run around for our security deposit. Genuinely took a couple of months just to get $300 back. Seems like poor money management to me.
Would not recommend. Owner is shady with money and will give you the run around for months after moving out. Maintenance was slow and sloppy. Property itself was okay.
Do not rent from Kotrumbus properties! Punch list items were never fixed in the year my daughter and her roommate lived there. Additionally, they left the property in better condition than they found it and are still waiting to get their $1800 deposit back. We were told the rental market is down and he didn’t have it to give back, to be patient and he would have it to us. And now a year later… crickets! Nothing. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Don’t rent from this guy.
I reached out to ask about the apartment layout, specifically if there was a wall behind the desk and whether the bedroom had a door for privacy. The agent replied in a somewhat defensive and dismissive tone, stating that there was only a doorway separating the living room and bedroom, no door, and that the desk and closet were built-in. All we are going to say is this organization is unethical to its core. We wish we had never done business with them and we feel any monetary compensation from them was dirty and we wish we could just wash our hands from affiliation with them altogether.
