From the moment I arrive at Dr. MacCumber's office I know my exam and treatment will proceed at a high level. I am greeted and taken through the steps by people I trust and in whom I have total confidence. Some I have met several times before in previous visits. Some I am meeting for the first time. Dr. Macumber is always courteous, reassuring and clearly knowledgeable. His genteel demeanor helps calm my apprehension, but he puts my eye health above all. The rest of the staff is always top notch: efficient and approachable.
The entire staff was welcoming & very personable. The work flow was seamless, efficient & timely. The physician was thorough & reassuring. Experiencing eye issues can be anxiety ridden however after my initial appointment with this group I am optimistic & confident that I have an organization that takes pride in their work & cares.
What a wonderful experience. It was my first visit and I didn’t know what to expect. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Everything procedure was explained and all questions answered.

I was impressed with the doctor and the exam, also the possibility of entering a clinical trial if my "match" is right -- on gene therapy for AMD. Dr. MacCumber was referred to me by my long time eye doctor and I count it as a good recommendation.

I love Dr. M. I had a detached retina that he repaired, saving my vision. I have been coming back for an annual checkup for the last 16 years. His expertise is the best; so is his interest in each of his patients. I recommend him very highly.
