I wrote this on Yelp, but wanted to share my experience here too. I've gotten my haircut twice here! One with Alex (who was AMAZING, but I don't think they work there anymore?) and recently I tried going to Niamh. I want to start off by saying that I have VERY low standards when it comes to my haircuts. Usually so long as it looks half decent, I'm more than happy. Absolutely love this hair salon! It’s super cozy and welcoming with such cute decor. I had highlights done by Monica and they turned out amazing - she’s a true artist! Plus she listened carefully to understand what I wanted, even finding examples online to be sure that she got the color right. I’m so glad to have a place like Koukla in the North End!
