Walter & Sons Plumbing has a top-notch customer service process. Everything went smoothly, starting with scheduling my appointment over the phone. The dispatcher clearly asked for details about my current plumbing setup. Our old house had plumbing that was a real mess—some galvanized, some copper, all tangled up from when the place got split into two apartments decades ago. Each floor had its own water heater, and the pipes ran all over the place, so getting hot water to the second-floor kitchen took forever and wasted a lot of water. I called expecting Walter & Sons plumbing, but instead got what must be a bigger company that bought the phone number of a smaller one. The guy’s hat and shirt said “Anywhere Rooter.” The tech that came out was obviously batting for the fences when it came to his commission…. Because he told me what a HUGE problem I had before he even looked at the problem! A while back, late on a Friday night, I heard water running in my old house and discovered a broken pipe in the basement wall.
