I was very unhappy with the result of my surgery. My stitches were sloppy and now I have an ugly scar. My friend had the same surgery and you can barely notice hers. I think the surgeon could have used better judgement when choosing my "hardware." Instead of small effective pins, he used large screw that penetrated right through to the other side of my bone.
