Absolutely terrible experience with my mother-in-law, 88 years old. She didn’t receive any help for her urinary problem, but we just waisted time, nerves and got very rude and unprofessional treatment.Stay away!Partially it was office assistant issue - they were not able to get CT results from Sutter Health before appointment, and didn’t bother to check and at least inform us, so we could do their job in receiving test results. Doctor himself was also not caring about old woman suffering and was showing aggressive behavior.

Dr Kong is ALWAYS late by an hour or more which is hard when you are 84 years old and need to give a catheterized urine sample. Dr Kong also does not follow up when prescribing antibiotics nor does his assistant Joy. I’ve called numerous times and have left numerous messages with the front desk asking for help and have NO response. I have Medicare and a PPO. He also has terrible bedside manner!

Dr Kong has been treating me since 2015 and I couldn't be happier in the care I receive. He is smart, funny and thinks outside the box to tackle problems or symptoms. He is cognizant of the sensitive nature of his practice and makes patients feel at ease. His new test beats a culture hands down! He takes urgent appointments and makes the effort to help his patients feel better. He is creative in his approach and his surgical skills are top notch.

Dr. Kong is patient, kind, funny and determined to make patients better. He is very knowledgeable and will answer any questions regarding disease, treatment, side effects, etc. He is a skilled surgeon who takes the time to do the right thing. He truly wants his patients to live the best life they can!
