Initially, we had no issue getting service to come to our building. Now, it has been months and they still have not corrected an issue that makes it impossible to use the emergency phone in our elevator. The response time is abysmal to calls and emails. You may want to look for other options.
We have two freight elevators that have been in operation since the 1940's. While I will give two stars for their tech, who came over from Detroit Elevator (purchased by Kone) and is a solid guy, the service management is terrible. We have had freight car that will not go to every floor for 6 months. We have sensor issues that have been continual for over 6 months. Kone has been servicing our business elevator for many years with no issue. The end of last year it quit working. They came out and inspected it during a routine maintenance and indicated they would send over a repair estimate. We don't use the elevator much but it had been many months and we had not received an estimate on the repairs.
