I've been coming to Kona Grill for a very long time. I even worked here when it first opened, and I've never had a problem. However, my last experience was a complete letdown. I sat at the bar and although the bartenders were friendly, they were not attentive at all. The food wasn't good either. The potstickers were undercooked, the salmon was dry and overcooked, the sauce was barely on the fish and when I asked for an extra side I was ignored. $85 plus tip for a subpar meal is a joke. Ron took care of us and he was awesome! We came very early on a Saturday and it was pretty slow but it was the first gorgeous day of the spring so I can understand why. We had a great table that felt like it was outside because they had the big windows open! Both of us got the poke bowl and it didn’t disappoint. Thanks for everything Ron!
