When I called to make an appointment the receptionist said there would be paperwork to fill out, so I came 5 mins early. The door was locked and it was dark, so I knocked. No answer, so I come back at appointment time and knock again. Receptionist opens door and proceeds to chew me out for knocking! Says”we’ll open door when it’s time”. I didn’t know if I had come at the wrong time or if there was an emergency or what.
In June 2025 I was seen for a skin condition and told I would receive the follow up results within 30 days of my June appointment. I contacted the office to retract my results Friday July 25 and was told that the notes reflected that the nurse had gotten back to me regarding the results. Her name is Brenda Kemp which resulted in me placing this negative review with google and also HMSA and eventually I will be contacting the physicians board as well as their provider department which list this providers. Dr Joy is wonderful! She was able to help me with a skin allergy problem I've had for years. I could not be more pleased with with her caring bedside manner. Brenda Kemp,APRN is great too, as is the office staff. No bells and whistles here, just true, caring medicine at it's best.
Professional staff is very competent and friendly and I have been very satisfied with them. However, I don’t understand why the same paperwork is required to be filled out at each visit even if there have been no changes. What is most concerning is that your social security number must be written on the intake form at each visit. Surely they must know that this number doesn’t change and giving it once should suffice.
