Very kind owners walked me around, explaining their selection, and advising me on suitable plants.
What an extraordinary and unexpected find! A visit is well worth the time. It is an immaculate park-like setting (32 acres) filled with all kinds of native and hard to find plants at very reasonable prices. The owners are exceptionally well versed and willing to provide guidance and suggestions. They cater to many local parks and native habitats in the mid-Atlantic area. Just go, it's well worth the trip.
Drove from outside of DC because they stock rare natives I haven't seen elsewhere. The property is incredible, and the family has knowledge in regards to any growing or designing questions you may have. Every single plant on the sprawling property was obviously expertly grown and loved. Only problem was that it took me 2.5 hours to get there. Guess I'll just have to make a day trip every fall and spring from now on
Incredible native plant nursery and kind people
The most phenomenal nursery I've been to in a bit. These guys are so attentive & knowledgeable of all the different plants they have there. They delighted in spending as much time with me as I needed, like family.
