I was referred to Dr Koletar by a mommy friend.. I was not happy with my sons pediatrician in Silverton. Was hoping to find someone in Silverton, but so happy we went with Salem Pediatric Clinic, mostly Dr Koletar... Amazing pediatric Dr!! I have a son with a Nero muscular disease, also special needs.. Dr Koletar has been amazing through our journey. I feel he takes his time, listens, and has been great with all my sons referrals to specialists. I never feel rushed. I know my son is in the best care with our Dr.
My son was born with a very rare skin condition that took 12 doctors, 4 biopsies, and the heads of both the Neonatology and dermatology depts of OHSU to diagnose. Dr. Koletar is the only doctor in the salem area who had even heard of it before, because he did work in pediatrics all over the world and had actually seen it before. He's a damn good doctor and goes through a lot of trouble to learn as much as he can, and that's the kind of doctor I want my kids to see.
