Our contractor has had a horrific experience with Kolbe during our home renovation. We’ve spent approximately $35,000 on custom windows and doors. This has only resulted in endless issues. Missing components, broken products, windows of wrong dimensions- a truly shocking experience for an alleged “premium” product. To make it worse, the customer service experience has been even more horrid . Slow response times, weeks between shipping replacement items, and a generally disinterested attitude. STAY AWAY.
UPDATE: Since my last review 10 months ago, we have had TWO additional Kolbe VistaLuxe WD doors exterior doors fail for a grand total of FIVE out of SIX exterior Kolbe VistaLuxe WD doors. The icing on the cake is that we've had a repeat failure on one of the five and it's still not fixed! This occurred over a month ago. The mechanism just crumbled (photos attached). I wouldn’t recommend working with this person. They were tailgating us and driving aggressively. Once it was safe for us to move over we saw the company name. They don’t even use their turn signals. If they act like this on the road and disrespect people by compromising their safety, then I can’t imagine supporting their business.
Despite contacting the Somerset MA location multiple times, there was no follow through on the sales rep getting a window quote for an entire project.
