Made a reservation 5/13/22 on uhaul website for a 10x10x8 climate controlled unit with their added (optional) insurance plan beginning 5/25/22. On Saturday 5/21/22 Judy called me asking if I really wanted the unit because everyone that reserved online has never shown up for their reservation. I confirmed that I did in fact want and need the unit. Started out as a good got a good deal with the storage, all went down hill when I got the second storage. Customer service is not the best when it comes to honoring there word. Warning to all get it in writing or you might be dishing out extra cash. They are terrible in following up with customer service.
Three days after moving all of our stuff into our storage unit we were robbed. My fiance and I went into the office to make them aware of what was going on and the lady at the desk told us that the owner would be in the office in the next couple hours. We came back in to talk to the owner and he not only accused us of lying and stealing our own stuff, he then proceeded to accuse his parents, and finally kicked us out of his storage facility.
