Great venue - love the natural atmosphere. Size is just right - big enough to have a nice crowd yet small enough to not be overwhelmed. My favorite local venue.
Last night's experience at Jim Gaffigan will make me think twice about ever coming to this venue again. My prior experiences there have been OK, but last night was horrendous. To start with, traffic control prior to the show was nonexistent. We turned on to Tryon from Kildaire Farm, and it was an hour later before we pulled in to a parking spot (maybe 1 mile total traveled in that hour), and then still had to walk 3/4 mile to the venue. Such a beautiful venue. Too bad the people running it thought it would be a good idea to sell 5000 more tickets than they should have. Poor signage to tell you where to go as you go in, no traffic control, and no where to sit / walk / move once you were inside. And forget about using the restrooms. Oh wait, we didnt need to use the restrooms because we never got the beer we ordered and paid for before the show let out.
