A Hidden Gem! – Seriously, I tried so many sushi places in LA and I was quite pleased to dine over here. They have some fresh fishes that will meet both American sushi lovers and Traditional Japanese Authentic taste sushi too. Its very crowded so go there early to avoid the lines. Leaves much to be desired – Even though I had a reservation, I still had to wait an hour at the mercy of a very unfriendly hostess. For a second there, I wondered if I was invisible. When finally getting a table, I mentioned that an apology would have been nice. Once she thought I was out of earshot, she called me a name that I won't repeat. Good sushi, good service. Period. – Koi Restaurant is great place if you're looking for sushi and meals. They've got a wide variety of lunch and dinner combinations. I myself went to the restaurant during lunch hours. The fish is good and the service is exceptional for only having 2 servers running the entire restaurant. Awesome! – Best sushi in town, outside L.A.! Their sushi is so fresh, it just melts-in-your-mouth-uum-hmm-good!!! Ask for Mia if you're gonna be at the sushi bar. Closes between 2 pm to 5 pm, so if you're coming after 5 pm, there might be a little wait! But "patience is a virtue," their sushi is worth the wait!
Excellent sushi! – I have eaten sushi in a lot of cities around the US and I must say that the sushi here is so fresh it melts in your mouth. I highly recommend the toro and albacore sashimi. Most of the sashimi was high quality and not very expensive, considering what you pay at other places with "hipper" atmosphere. This place definitely had a customers wrapped around the block on a Monday night at 7!! Try it!
