Terrible management! There is mold in many units. It's not a new issue. They are trying to claim it's due to increased himidy and mitigated as it happens. That's a lie. I'm contacting the city and filing a complaint. I work in environmental restoration and I know that these conditions are not healthy or fit for occupancy. My daughter currently lives here and I have visited many times. It just gets worse each visit. I can't even stay in the building for long. I book a hotel. I lived in Hickory Trace Apartment For 2 years and its been the most unpleasant and uncomfortable stay I have ever lived in. They are ***** INFESTED, No lights on the outside of the building ( which is dangerous for women with children) , the maintenance mans doesnt do any but sweep the hallways but never tend to the work order. They whole 2 years of my stay I asked for a new door and for the whole 2 years I was told it was on back order just to find out last week that the door was never ordered. If you have only had pest treated a few times, it would be because you and/or your guests refused the pest control person to enter or the locks were changed and you did not provide us with a key, otherwise all units are treated every quarter. I would give negative stars if possible. I lived in a ROACH INFESTED basement unit at ******** and after numerous attempts to contact the main office, the maintenance man (who was a total pervert who cat called me a few times) came by ONCE to spray the kitchen. Obviously it did not fix the problem, I think the roaches were coming out of the pipes. About half way through my lease, a Peeping Tom started to visit my bedroom window multiple times a week. ************************* and her roommate lived at Oakbrook Apartments from 3/29/2019 to 9/30/2019 with a lease from 3/29/2019 to 3/31/2020. They vacated on 9/30/2019 because they informed us in September they could no longer afford the rent after paying a portion of the September rent and turned in the keys to their apartment and are responsible for the remainder of their lease or until the apartment is re-rented.
