so good! try the monkey brains and white russian roll.... super amazing!
This is the spot. I have told many of my friends about this place. The food is great and the service and staff is by-far the greatest. I would recommend that you stop by and give it a try.
My entire week has been terrible, and I've been bitter about it....that is, until I entered this wonderful sushi haven. Happy hour sake and draft beer, amazing nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls, and even an appetizer with cream cheese that I was willing to eat? I literally forgot about an entire week of suffering within the first 30 minutes. Truly a wonderful experience.
Kohnami is closed. Had a sign on the door that their landlord changed the locks. Cross this place off your list if you haven't already.
Went for lunch during their 1 year anniversary. They gave out a 50% off coupon and allowed me to use it on one of the sushi plates. I tried to replace the roll on the plate, but they brought me an additional roll instead. The sushi itself was ok. Mid-level fish, about in line with that served at Hanabi, not as good as what is served at Uchi or Tomo. The prices, though... Even with the half off coupon, my meal came out to over $30 after tip. I mean, it was a lot of sushi, but not $30 worth of sushi...
