Thank god for door people!! – Simple ...I had an event with big clients and was worried that after our event was over they would let in a bad crowd. Couldn't have been the opposite! We finished our event and got a table for the remainder of the night, the host said that he would sit a good crown next to us and he for sure did. DON'T GO!!!!! – I had put a lot of planning into my best friend's bachelorette party...called around to several clubs, and read lots of reviews. I ended up calling the Greenhouse and made reservation for 15 girls...2 tables, 2 bottles for $800. I called 3 times to confirm this, and all three times they assured me that we were good to go. Worst Club in New York? Quite Possibly – It's official... the battle for New York's worst nightlife comes down to a duel between Marquee and Greenhouse. If you want to know what either is like, just picture an episode of Jersey Shore being filmed in a nightclub in Amsterdam... and everyone's sober because they don't want to payoff the bouncer with a $100 bill, then pay a $20 cover, then pay $15 dollars for an Amstel Light. Seriously.... sad part is, I'm not stretching the truth one bit.
expensive! – so it was just me and my girl and they were asking us to buy bottle service for $400... Are you stupid or something thats a lot of money for two people. Not a lot of dance floor.. bottle service is a must because it has a lot of seating areas!
OK - Not great – I had a good night here and managed to get in via a friend so we didn't have to much of an issue with the line. Probably wouldn't go back in a hurry.
Call ahead of time to make sure its not Gay night!!! – Went in here on sunday of Labor day weekend, thinking it would be a good time. As my cousin and I enter the club we notice all men in the place. I asked the coat check guy if tonight is a special event. He said , " its Gay night". The website did not indicate any of this information and I was very dissapointed. We were looking for straight men lol. So much for that, not sure if I will attempt to go back until they update their website to reflect special nights.
Great Tuesday night party – Greenhouse was insane on Tuesday night! the line is tough but always worth it. guaranteed hot, fun crowd and roxy cottontale was spinning! we got there on the early side and it was packed! There was an open bar with these glowing green bottles!! I'll be back next tuesday!
