It is a family tradition to open oysters from Kobe and collect the pearls. A few years ago I had enough saved for a necklace. I was worried about how it would look with all the different colors and sizes. They were just as excited as I was and assured me it would be beautiful. They drilled and strung my collection and even put my special pearl that my mom got while pregnant with me next to the clasp so I would always know which one it is.
