Always the best place in town. Love the portions and the hibachi
It's loud. Reason I gave it three stars is because it was a birthday at the hibachi table next to us and they come out banging a drum. The girl was banging it directly next to my left ear and was banging that drum so loud, I had to get up from the table after I put my hands over my ears. That was totally unnecessary. The other reason I gave it three stars is because the flame was so hot it was a little bit unbearable they have actually tell you to watch your eyebrows. It's a great place to eat, the hibachi is very entertaining and the food is great.. 'Gede' is by far the best chef you have.. We eat here every couple of weeks and always request him to be our chef, we ask in advance if he is working because if not we generally choose to go somewhere else because he's just that good....☺
We've NEVER had a bad experience! The staff is exceptional and Li is amazing! He always makes us feel welcome! Every chef there is amazing and always shows us a good time.
The way this business is run is honestly disgusting. For one, it's mediocre hibachi at best- the drive to portland is worth it for good food at the price you pay. The owner and management treat employees horribly. Li creates a hostile work environment for them on an almost regular basis and when employees realize the way they're being treated is unacceptable, rather than firing them they try to force them to quit or just stop scheduling them without giving any sort of explanation.
