Wish I could be sad about this restaurant closing but the one and ONLY time I went to this restaurant, the cook thought it would be funny to play with my life. I asked for my food to be prepared WITHOUT mushrooms because of a severe allergy to them (this is never a problem at the real deal steakhouse, Miyabi). When the cook comes to our tables and begins to prep, he takes the tray of veggies and waves the side with mushroom IN MY FACE with a laugh I might add!! My husband ordered me take out because I am sick. My steak was burnt (suppose to be medium), shrimp instead of scallops, and no salad or extra soup. He was there for my brothers birthday and we are regulars. I hate to see you guys close, but maybe this is why. I won't be back!

We had the best time ever. Our cook made the wait worthwhile. So engaging and he remembered some of our family from last time. Shrimp game, chicken nugget song and funny jokes --just to mention a few of the amazing things he did. We visited 2 months ago during the Carolina Florida game and came back to Aiken just to eat at Kobe while visiting family in Augusta. Food was great!!
