the Host is dumb, too dumb to be a Host. The first time I made a reservation, I had to wait for such a long time because the people in front of me in the line were joking around with the host. The host were joking back with them and wouldn't go back to work until I said something. She talked to me rudely and i couldn't stand her. When i told her to watch her attitude, she finally stopped. My advise to other people is try not to look better than them or else they'll treat you like crap.
Tasty! Kobe is a tasty place. I went for a few birthday dinners and while it isn't cheap, the food is amazing and they cook it in front of you.

One of our Favorites We love going to Kobe! It is usually very busy, so it is best to go early - and you and usually find a good coupon in the "This Week" tourist book. The chefs are funny and engaging and the food is always cooked to perfection!
Steak House I thought this steak house was okay but not as good as I had hoped for in Hawaii. The ones in California are just as good or better. Our party had the steak and chicken and shrimp on the teppan grill and the chicken was a bit fatty for me. The rice was good though. Ok price. The interior was a bit dark and it was a bit smoky and smelled kind of greasy.
Great Entertainment Kobe's has great seafood and steak and the food is cooked right before your eyes. The Chef's are quite entertaining and the restaurant is in the beginning of Waikiki. I recommend this restaurant to those who love to eat steak.
Don't walk away hungry This is a fun place to eat. The chef's are fun to watch and the food is excellent. You get a free meal on your birthday, so it makes a nice treat on that special day. I've never left hungry.
The Food is soooo ONO ( good) Kobe steakhouse chefs are awesome, they are quick with their hands and the food is so delicious! This resturant is my dad's favorite! it's expensive but worth it!
