Just like every other pain management doctor out there, wants to give you shots as many shots as your insurance allows, in an unsterile environment, he gives you for 5 minutes or less every visit, if you take too long he will tell you there's plenty other patients he has to deal with. Make sure you do your homework, the Department of Justice fined him and his cronies for allegations of Medicare fraud and non trained employees performing procedures.
Dr. Ko has treated me for many years for chronic pain. He is the type of doctor that will listen to your concerns and discuss all treatment options with you. He is a very compassionate man and makes you feel like you are the only one that matters while he is with you.
I have been a patient of Dr. Ko for almost two years. In that time he has effectively treated me for the chronic pain I have been experiencing in my neck and shoulders. I’ve had two surgeries on my left shoulder. One, which was done poorly by a local orthopedic surgeon and a second one to correct the first one, but it left me with the chronic pain. Dr. Ko is the nicest and Most Caring Dr I have ever had the fortune to come accress after my injury. I don't know of any other Pain specialist who actually take the time to listen carefully and come up with a plan to help my situaton. After I had lost my insurance because of a labor dispute he was more than willing to work with me and help bring the costs down. He gave me all the samples he could get his hands on. A VERY NICE PERSON!!!
