The only doctor for my son! My son has autism and we've had a difficult time finding a doctor who understood his needs as well as the questions that our family has. Dr. Knudsen at Growing Child is the most wonderful pediatrician I've ever met (and we've seen many!). He's so compassionate and I love that he talks directly to our son, and not over his head. I would recommend this practice to any parent!
I Trust Them With My Children's Lives I never knew a medical practice could care so much! They are always pleasent, they have always taken my concerns seriously, you can get an appointment when you need it, the waiting room is bright and cheerful with toys, the stay in the waiting room before an appointment is brief, need I go on? PROS: They take medicaid, short waits, easy to get appointments CONS: I haven't found any yet
Pediatrics are GREAT! My 22 month old little girl goes to Growing Child Pediatrics in Clayton and loves it. If she is sick they get her in the same day. No more than a 10 minute wait in the waiting room and they have plenty of toys in the waiting room to entertain kids. And great doctors, know what is wrong and will stay to listen to everything. Not Rushing!!
Not pleased When my first child was born we started taking him to Growing Child Pediatrics. We were not happy with the treatment he received there. After 3 months we left and found a new practice. I liked that Growing Child has several locations as well as an urgent care, but I was unhappy with several of the pediatricians there and felt like the care of my children was compromised.
Don't waste your time!!!! I took my daughter to Growing Child Pediatrics in Clayton when she broke out in painful, itchy red hives all over her body. We saw Dr. Kristi Woods whom I must say was totally unhelpful. She did not introduce herself when she walked in and was very uncompassionate. I explained to her that my daughter had an ear infection the week before and was prescribed an antibiotic by Urgent Care. Dr. Woods told me she had no idea what the rash was, but wanted me to bring my daughter back in the next day so she ... read more
