Wait, & Wait with literally, no regard by anyone. This is the same, at all locations in the hospital from Admissions, to payment, to procedures (specifically xray), discharge and even post discharge. Of course this transaltes to poor cade, especially at a place we expected to be cared for.. a decent hospital. Specifically, my wife and I waited 7 hours in an almost empty ED (2 others waiting) when she had a broken wrist from an accident. Waited a further hour for an xray. Waited to be admitted. My son was sent to the emergency department by his GP. He has severe abdominal pain and suspected hernia. He was asked by the ED Doctor if he had used Google to diagnose himself! He was admitted from Sunday until Thursday. They managed to misplace his bloods twice and not given any indication of what was wrong. The so called doctors on the ward were arrogant at best, with one more interested in catching a flight than communicating with us. His replacement was even worse not even bothering to talk to us. I would like to command the nurses on the Waratah ward for all their efforts, support and love I receive while recovering from my surgery. I would especially like to mention Tayler would looked after me for the most of my stay. The treatment and support I received from her was exceptional. 11/9/2025
Would not recommend anyone to stay here went in for a procedure paid for 2 nights as was told that's what I needed to stay for doctor came in the next day after procedure and said I can go home rang up to get a refund as I paid for 2 nights and was told I was not entitled to a refund. Will be taking this further
