My friend was having terrible sharp stomach pain late in the night, so we came here. They took her in almost immediately. Every single person we met was extremely kind, patient, amd caring; I was very happy and impressed. Even though it was like 3am, no one was irritated or snappy; everyone was super kind. They gave us warm blankets and easily talked us through what was going on (neither of us had been to the ER before) and carefully explained my friend's diagnosis. You really freaking suck as a hospital! You shouldn't even exist! You treat people without insurance as if they don't matter enough for you to wanna put rush on things especially for kids! Adults come last to kids! And making a screaming crying child whose in pain sit for hours in a waiting room is absolutely appalling! This hospital is crappy! Don't come here make the drive or get transported out!!
This place is a damn joke. Every time you go out there it's pretty much a guarantee you're gonna be there at least 9 hours. My wife has been out there since noon today. It's now 8:30 pm and they still haven't told them anything. They were over 3 and a half hours getting her in a room and she was taken in by emergency squad. Next time I don't care we will drive her to either Columbus or Mansfield. But KCH is absolutely pathetic. And to be honest so are most of their Doctors and nursing staff. If I could leave 0 starts I would my 10 year old son was hit in the head with a metal shovel we sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half with him crying and bleeding he was never seen
