We had a great experience working with Knowmad for our trip to Chile. The itinerary is very customizable and individualized based off the things we wanted to do. All of the guides and drivers were extremely punctual and communicative. Lodging was also great and fit our needs. In Patagonia, we were lucky to have met Filipe as he was very knowledgable about the area and really took the time to get to know us. Everything was incredibly seamless for each step of our travel and excursions to Argentina Patagonia - from being personally greeted by driver and guide on arrival in Buenos Aires, followed by an easy flight to Calafate with a knowledgeable guide and driver to take us to the quaint hiking village of Chalten. In Chalten we experienced made to order weather to hike the Laguna de los Tres trail after being transported to the Rio Electrico bridge access on Knowmad's recommendation in order to make the hike a tad easier. We just got back from a wonderful 2-week honeymoon in Argentina & Uruguay planned by Knowmad! Knowmad was first class from planning to execution to troubleshooting, the last part when my buddy and I got stuck in Argentine Patagonia due to an unexpected general strike in Argentina. Knowmad even helped us with our travel-insurance claims after we returned to the US. My buddy and I are active, in our early 60’s, and Knowmad worked with us to plan the right kind and intensity of experiences within our budget: day hikes, kayaking, and horseback riding.
