Appalling behaviour to a young child. Despite using this barbers for a long time (even back in their old location at four lane ends) the last cut I had wasn’t the best. If they spent less time yakking at each other they might concentrate better? Final straw was how they treated my 4 year old son last month, a kid who was fearful of having his haircut but finally turned the corner this year! Wonderful gentleman's barbers with outstanding staff who are caring, patient and attentive. I went recently during the coming out of lockdown and the shops is being managed wonderfully with a sign-in and compulsory hand cleansing station. The recent renovation looks amazing and these photos truly don't do it justice, well done to the people who made this look how it does now!! Been going here for 3 years since it was known as Dave’s barbers at Benton shops, to when Christine took the shop over the four lane ends.. never had a bad haircut, never needed an appointment, and if there was ever a queue i’m more than happy to wait as it’s worth waiting for. All of the staff are very friendly. Tried a few nearby when I needed a late night haircut and they don’t come close to the attention to detail that the women at Knowles do. My first review ever.....Lived in Newcastle for 3 years now (moved up for uni and work). Started getting my haircut here a few months ago and wish I'd found this place earlier. Danny has cut my hair a few times now and always leave happy, really nice guy and knows his stuff.. have never been sure what to ask for and he was able to give me some advice on cutting and styling. Over the moon with the service and experienced barbers here. Thanks again guys.

Went here after a bad experience with a different barbershop. The woman who cut my hair was very friendly and conversational. Cut was very tidy and the way i wanted, she also gave great advice on the style i was going for as longer hair styles is new to me. Would definitely go back, life savers.
