I am in atlanta and I will travel to jersey/knotty roots to get my locs retwisted and styled. My locs are healthier then ever before .. I've had my locs for 15 years and in atlanta I haven't found a place that can maintain my strands . Knotty roots is the way to go .

I had an awesome experience at Knottyroots . The owner (Mizan) is amazing. She does her job professionally and with grace. Very easy to communicate with.. She treats you like family. Quionna was great! She was very welcoming, entertaining, worked fast and efficiently. However I was very disappointed with the level of professionalism I experienced from the receptionist during my confirmation calls . During the call , she asked me if I knew how long the stylist would take to remove my locs—something I clearly wouldn’t be expected to know. Her tone came across as dismissive and unhelpful. I am very upset, I drive 20 min trying to get in the building no one was here. I like Mizan as a person but her system is a waste of time . It books me and then no one shows up . This is so unprofessional and frustrating why would your system book me and your not working on the Sunday . No call or text . I'm not going through this again . Thanks for nothing .
