Stopping into Knot Norm’s in Norwalk after work with colleagues revealed the quintessential local neighborhood spot. The staff was wonderfully friendly, delivering great service from start to finish and even kindly treating us to some of their grilled oysters—which, while perhaps not quite reaching the legendary heights of Drago's in New Orleans, proved to be very tasty nonetheless. Got lost and found our way here. Literally the best case scenario, I feel rejuvenated and for once everything about our order was just perfect. Most restaurants lately are lacking somewhere but knots is just a perfect 100 all around. We got oysters and lobster rolls. I think I just undid a decade of insomnia and stress and replaced it with butter and lobster meat. Also Norm, what a great host , it’s really nice to see an owner engage in an earnest conversation, not just small talk.
It was a beautiful day outside. My husband & I loved the lobster roll. Packed high with lobster & a delicious ailoi.
