Terrible. Avoid at all costs and if you are a seller, find another broker. Knt 10 refused to present three nearly full-price purchase offers from me because I objected to boilerplate language in their preprinted sales contract that would have removed sales contingencies.. This decision was supposedly made by the brokerage's owner I have been trying to buy the same boat from one of their listings for over a month and have invested two entire days driving a long distance to see the boat. If you are an owner attempting to sell a boat, avoid these people at all costs. They will not represent your interests and apparently wiil not communicate all purchase offers to you. If you are a buyer, understand that Knot 10 is impossible to deal with, that they will force a contract of adhesion down your throat, and that at least one salesman with whom I dealt does not tell the truth about listings. I decided to sell my boat after 18 years of ownership and was dreading the 50 mile drive from my home to meeting potential buyers, tire kickers, no shows or scammers at the marina were my boat was stored. I used this broker and they had no idea about my boat and ending up ruining my engine and costing me thousands of dollars, I would never trust this company. I mean never!
If you what to sell your boat or buy a boat, steer clear of Knot10. Keith is by far the worst Broker in the business. His attitude is terrible and not customer friendly. My purchase took close to 5 months, when it could have been completed in less than 3, if Keith would have been honest with his customer and the buyer. He get's a negative five stars.
Beware!! Do NOT deal with this company especially with Todd Wittmann. He is only in it for the money!!!
They do things in the best interest of their buyer and seller. They walk you through the steps to a fair and successful transaction and really effort finding you the right boat. They are also helpful in guiding you to some great marine financing banks. And they return all of your phone calls and e mails with accurate answers.
We purchased a boat through Knot 10 and it was a great experience. It's such an exciting time buying a boat and the brokers and office staff are so fun but also professional. Our broker guided us through the process and we felt like we knew all of our options. They aren't the typical sales guys who just want to get the deal done, they actually want you to love the boat you buy for years to come.
