When I moved to Minnesota from Massachusetts, I rented a 10x28 unit. At the time, it seemed like a decent rate, but did not include the utility fee. My unit was "heated" to 60 degrees, but not air conditioned in the summer. My first utility fee was $7, and over the 8 1/2 years I was a customer, it went up to $13. Very shady facility manager was very short and disrespectful to any body came in to orchestrate a transaction. Manager made seem like very busy to help and assist after I purchased a storage unit from them. Very suspicious activities going on at the facility no climate control water damage smell of mildew high chemical smell. Highly recommend to void this place if possible. I have never seen a storage unit in this condition as I have been doing them for years.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY OR ANY OF THE MAYFLOWER PROPERTIES. I booked a storage locker over the phone and was surprised and annoyed that the price on line was about half of the actual costs once they added on all kinds of bogus fees. Once we actually saw the unit, it was not suitable for storing items. I was told it was climate controlled but it was just barely above freezing and there were clear water stains on the floor where water had seeped in underneath the metal garage door. While I lived in MPLS, the location was easy to get to- but still private enuf for security. I've lived out of town for about 3 years but have never run into trouble with communicating right away and it's been a Real Person on the other end! I tremendously respect how this company still honors the Human-ness of business. Thank U So Much Knollwood for your thoughtful understanding!! Contessa
