McKenzie made it so easy to arrange a short-term locker rental on short notice! HUGE help with our move...everything accomplished in just a few minutes...great instructions, codes, unit, security and location so convenient to apartments and condos near the Knollwood shopping area. I love that it's secure, inside storage. The lights come on as you go down the hall, which says the care about the tenants. Neighbors in other units I have met seem to be nice. I just wish the unit was a bit taller instead of having the wire mesh on top. I was very confused about the pricing. One price online and but then a different price with fee when you sign contract. I was charged a price, but then I got a call saying I didn't pay enough. Went back to the office and did get it figured out in the end.
When I moved to Minnesota from Massachusetts, I rented a 10x28 unit. At the time, it seemed like a decent rate, but did not include the utility fee. My unit was "heated" to 60 degrees, but not air conditioned in the summer. My first utility fee was $7, and over the 8 1/2 years I was a customer, it went up to $13. When I purchased a new home, I downsized to a unit half the size. It was the only one left, so I had to take it. Very shady facility manager was very short and disrespectful to any body came in to orchestrate a transaction. Manager made seem like very busy to help and assist after I purchased a storage unit from them. Very suspicious activities going on at the facility no climate control water damage smell of mildew high chemical smell. Highly recommend to void this place if possible. I have never seen a storage unit in this condition as I have been doing them for years.
I love Knollwood storage. I have used them for years and always have been taken care of by there team.
