Because of her advice, we managed to continue happy memories with him for another 8 months. Knollwood is exactly what I was hoping for when I Googled "holistic vet near me." The staff is friendly upon arrival and direct you straight to your private room instead of a common waiting area. Dr. Mitchell literally knows everything there is to know about puppies. She recommended a raw diet and we switched over right away. They offer Thimerosal-free vaccines - a HUGE bonus when choosing to vaccinate. During the puppy exam, I was allowed to handle my dog. Staff demonstrated how to clip nails, clean ears, and brush teeth. T... read more

I’m so glad I found Dr. Mitchell and the Knollwood team. My dachshund Tucker has been seeing Dr. Mitchell now for over a year, and when I brought him in with back pain, she formed a great treatment plan and I’m happy to say he’s doing really well. We also saw Stephanie for cold laser treatments and she’s wonderful. I could not ask for a better team of intelligent doctors and staff to care for Tucker. Everyone there goes the extra mile to help make sure that my dog is taken care of!

Dr. Mitchell and staff provided great service and care for us and our beloved dog Buddy Maiers for 12-1/2years. Buddy was 4 months old when we had our first appointment back in August of 2005. It’s hard to believe it was that long ago. Dr. Mitchell and the entire staff were very helpful and supportive throughout the years and especially during the past year when Buddy was diagnosed with diabetes and anal gland cancer. Just moved to the area and took my pup Cujo there for his yearly vaccines and I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mitchell. I loved how knowledgeable she was about every question I threw her way. Also, she introduced me to the three year vaccines and really explained the benefits of that alternative very well and clear. Very professional and made me feel she really had my pups best interest.
