RecommendedI am from Albany, NY and was in the Somers, CT area visiting a friend. I was psyched to find out there was a local knitting store nearby. I instantly was amazed at the wide selection of yarns, patterns, buttons, pom poms, etc. Pam (the owner) was so so friendly and helpful! I showed her my recent projects and she was able to help me out with some sock-knitting questions. She even also offered to mail yarn to NY for me if needed. I highly recommended this yarn store!!😊
Hands down the best yarn store in the area. I have visited all of them. Beautiful shop filled with the best yarns. Pam, the owner, is knowledgeable and delightful. Open knitting and classes are offered (when there is not a pandemic) and help is always given to those who ask. Pam will also wind any yarn you buy for free. Yummy yarns and friendly knitters chatting away. Knitting Criations is worth the trip from anywhere!
Knitting Criations is a fabulous place. It is conveniently located with ample parking and offers a wide variety of yarns,patterns and notions for all types of needle crafters as well as classes. It is a friendly,welcoming place where knitters come to “ just knit”,share projects and knowledge and enjoy some camaraderie. Pam,the owner,is multi - talented and always generous with her help. There’s so much to love! The selection is fabulous, from classic workhorse yarns like Cascade and Berroco to exquisite hand-dyed yarns like Baah Yarns, Malabrigo, and Manos de Uruguay. Finding lovely spinning fiber is an extra treat! Pam Harris, the owner/operator, is knowledgeable and so friendly and helpful with any technique. Hands down, this is my favorite local yarn store!

They have great yarn and they wind it up for you if you need it to be. Love going to the open knitting during the day too!
