EDIT: In response to the store's reply — I appreciate the offer to fix the blade. I was truly impressed by the combination of kitchen knives and coffee—it was a delightful surprise. They carry a wide variety of coffee equipment, especially well suited for a slow bar setup. There is also a diverse selection of knives, most of which are beautiful and fascinating. The staff clearly take pride in their work, and the service is excellent. I ordered an iced coffee, and it was served with the cleanest ice I’ve ever seen.

I booked a private knife sharpening class with Liv and brought two friends along, one who'd only learned from YouTube, and another who was completely new to sharpening. I'd consider myself the most experienced of the group (I know four different sharpening styles and have taken classes elsewhere, including Tosho's), and somehow Liv managed to keep all three of us engaged the entire time, and really was dynamic in how she supported all three of us throughout the workshop.
