WARNING: Avoid KNG Auto Repair at All Costs I’ve been taking my car to KNG Auto for two years, and I now realize I’ve been falling for their scam the entire time. They lure customers in with a “cheap” $70 oil change, then try to upsell hundreds of dollars in unnecessary repairs every visit. Review is for dishonesty. Called before going for an oil change. Told them the car and year (Japanese Make And Model) and they quoted $56 including tax and disposal. What was weird is the person on the phone didn’t know the exact price which should have been a red flag. Ended up to be almost $70 for the oil change. They said disposal fee wasn’t included in the original quote. Total BS. I need to add this, since I seen other reviews complaining about extreme added services. I have been sitting here for since 7:08 am I was asked if they can help me at 732 am they open at 730 I told him the problem and he said he said give me 30 minutes so I can set up , put chairs out and signs I said you are open correct he said ya but I’m gonna do this I’ll get to you in 30 minutes I said you are open right Not opening he said yes walked away Horrible Horrible
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Found this place on Groupon for an oil change and was told if you go in person they’ll honor the Groupon + $10 off because Groupon takes 50% and only pays them maybe once a month. They didn’t take off the $10 even if I mentioned it twice and tried to help them out as a business by going to them directly. On top of that they broke my oil pan gasket when they did my oil change by tightening the screws with a machine instead of by hand causing it to bend/crack and then tried to quote me $500 to fix it.
