I had 2 laminectomies (with compression) on a Monday afternoon and I’ve been walking pain free ever since. By Wednesday I was no longer taking any meds and didn’t even need my walker. I did make one critical mistake …. I should have gone to see Dr. Knego much sooner !
Dr. Knego, operating with Dr. Donald Erb (pain management) placed a Medtronic Intrathecal Pain Pump in my abdomen some years ago. Together, they did an excellent. I have had occasion to see Dr. Knego several times in his Sarasota office. He is skilled, experienced and was always patient with me... the patient. A little humor there. Jared was outstanding.
It takes a week for a referral to go from one Dr to the another. I was called at a week & appt scheduled. Office staff was nice. I saw Jared, Dr Knego’s, PA, Jared listened,was knowledgeable & answered my questions.. Dinah scheduled all appointments. Dr Knego & Jared did an excellent job with surgery. On post-op visit, Dr Knego, answered all my questions and was very nice. He’s a trauma surgeon, so is not always available in the office, but he knows his craft and that’s what was important to me.
He is the best there is , I have had back pain and problems for 20 years , he did some major surgery in August I am so much better because of his skill. He is good at explaining options and easy to talk to
I am in the process of seeing if he can help my 83 year old mother. He operated on my husband 2 times and my daughter once. All 3 times was wonderful with instant relief. I've recommended him to many friends and family. He's an awesome guy on top of being a really good surgeon. He cares about his patients.
I was new to the area and needed to transfer my care. Dr. Knego came very highly recommended. He performed a very thorough exam, reviewed my records and test results, and gave me his opinion of my condition and his recommendations in a concise and easy to understand manner. He spent a surprisingly long time with me. He made me feel very comfortable and that he understood my complaints and concerns. Have not had surgery by him yet although probably soon. I trust him.
