Decided to stop here because it's a block from our home, so super convenient to walk to! The Great: Delicious pastries. I got the strawberry matcha Danish and my husband got the gf carrot cake. The danish was so buttery and crispy, I can tell they use good quality butter in their baked goodies. The matcha strawberry combo was a bit of a wildcard but it was really good and fresh. 1) mid food, bonjour is way better. 2) they add a "delivery fee" to everything you buy in the store that they dont tell you about until checkout, thats different from the *other* "service" surcharge thats in 8-point font on the signage
They are good at what they do! Delicious baked goods and coffees. My favorite is the rotating lunch menu. I go here regularly and think about it often when I’m away.
I really want to like this place more, because it’s so conveniently located when I need a quick bite. I will say their pastries have never disappointed, but their lunch & breakfast items are incredibly hit or miss (mostly miss). I enjoyed a Caesar salad once, but haven’t seen them in the fridge in several months. The last few times I’ve ordered the soup, it was WAY too spicy! Total decline in previous quality, scone and baguette were dry and overall disappointing. The cream of mushroom soup was like an actual nightmare and such a waste of $10. Even chose to cancel my Thanksgiving order. So sad because it was a really incredible spot.
