My partner and I just moved into the penthouse here and had several concerns upon moving in. However the maintenance guy Aaron went above and beyond to meet every single concern that I had move in day. I have nothing but positive things to say about his customer service and work ethic. Under no circumstances should you rent here. A multitude of issues occurred during my leasing experience at the Knapps Center, and I preface this by stating that I was not late on rent a single month during my tenancy. Repair requests went unaddressed, and repeated requests to communicate before attempting to access the apartment were ignored, disrupting any work-from-home environment required by working professionals. Living here has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Being right downtown means I can walk to just about everything—groceries, shops, even a bakery right downstairs (which is dangerously good in the best way). The location is unbeatable for anyone who likes being part of a real, walkable neighborhood. I’ve been here for a year, the apartments are nice but the management company is awful and shady as heck. They offered new lease incentives when I signed up- half of it they properly applied to move in costs. The other half was to come to me months after I moved in (which they didn’t disclose). When I didn’t get it I had to spend 9 months chasing after them to get them to issue it. Despite this I like my unit, so I wanted to renew my lease.
