I shop here all the time and have always found the staff to be very friendly — except for one person named Ronald. He was extremely rude and clearly doesn’t know how to deal with customers. My money got stuck, and when I tried to ask for help on 21st October 2025, he was very disrespectful, speaking to us as if it was our fault. He definitely needs proper training on customer service and how to treat customers with respect.
Honestly this Kmart has gotten so bad recently. Every time I go in, there’s clothes everywhere, shelves empty, and stuff just left on the floor. The staff don’t really care either because they’re usually talking or on their phones instead of helping anyone. The management here clearly aren’t focusing on the right jobs because it’s been like this for ages. It’s actually so frustrating as I used to like coming here, but now it’s just gross and stressful. Kmart hurstville has become one of the most disgusting stores I have ever seen!!!! Heard management had changed recently and it’s become absolutely garbage in the last 2 months or so. Clothes all over the floor and tangled in hangers, ripped and open packets, food spills, dust and mould growing on food that no one bothers to clean. Very disappointed with the CUSTOMER SERVICE at Kmart on Saturday, 27 September 2025, 11.15am. The staff member was unhelpful and dismissive, making the experience stressful rather than supportive. I expected better professionalism and courtesy 🥀
