I try to support black businesses but again and again, I’m reminded why I shouldn’t. I went to get my hair done and it was a horrible experience. I went in at 12:30 and didn’t get out until around 4:30pm and it would’ve been later if I had not spoken up. I saw her rush clients just so she can move on to the next client. I have been going to Emily for about 15 years. She is extremely reliable, professional, and goes above and beyond for her clients. Not to mentioned her hands are blessed.

I cannot speak to their ability to do hair, but I can speak to the lack of professionalism. I arrived on time, and I sat down. I was told someone would be with me, and at first they were very nice. I gave a 15 minute grace period, because I thought a silk press was simple enough to get started right away. There was one washer from what I could see, and 3 stylists with people already in their chairs. Again, I only waited until 1:15, because I didn’t want to get stuck in the salon past 4pm.
